Returns & Cancellations

Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of order confirmation for a full refund, with no fee. After this window production begins against a specific block and cancellations cannot be accepted.

Change of Mind

We accept change-of-mind returns within 14 days of delivery, on terms that reflect what moving a 121 lb stone object actually costs.

The piece must be unused, undamaged, and repacked in its original crate
Return freight is at the customer's expense, typically $300 to $500 USD depending on destination and access. Stone cannot travel by parcel carrier; we coordinate the specialist two-person collection and pass on the carrier's quote at cost
A 25% restocking fee applies, calculated on the piece price
Original delivery charges are not refunded

Damaged in Transit

Delivery is made by a two-person team, so transit damage is visible on the day. Document it with photographs and notify us within 48 hours of delivery. We manage the carrier claim, ship a replacement, and pay all freight. No restocking fee applies.

Manufacturing Defect

Submit a claim within 30 days of delivery to contact@tobia-stones.com with photographs. We respond within 3 business days and arrange either a replacement or a full refund. We pay the return freight and no restocking fee applies.

What Is Not a Defect

Travertine is a sedimentary stone. Tonal variation, pore distribution, and veining differ from block to block, and the sides of the Roman Plinth are deliberately left raw. These are properties of the material, not faults. A 10 x 10 cm sample is available for $30 plus $15 shipping, with the $30 credited in full against an order.
